Introduction

Paxtons Home Improvements opened its doors in 1992 and have been expanding steadily ever since. Originally, the company concentrated on UPVC windows and doors, but it soon became clear that customers required much more and the company has grown to meet their needs. Family owned and run, the company is continually extending the range of home improvements products available and constantly monitoring and improving the service levels offered.

In recent years, Paxtons has completed many complex construction projects to add to its already varied portfolio, having been appointed official Ultraframe installer for the area. Whether we're dealing with a retail customer in a residential setting, or a commercial project such as an office block, car showroom or school refurbishment, Paxtons guarantees top quality products and service at competitive prices.

We do not employ the hard sell approach; we do not have to. Our reputation has been hard-earned and the majority of our work comes from recommendation, many of our customers returning again and again as they 'move and improve' around the area. Unlike many of our competitors, all of our installers are employees and are committed to giving our customers the best possible job with the mimimum amount of fuss and hassle. They, like the partners and sales staff, live locally – you might even know them – and understand that the continued success of the company, and our good reputation, is in their hands; a challenge that they rise to meet, without exception.

Opening hours
Many of our products are on display in our showroom in Saffron Walden, Essex, which is just a few minutes away from Junction 9 of the M11. Our normal opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm and Saturdays 9am – 1pm. We are also happy to open outside of these hours (by prior arrangement) to meet the needs of busy customers, or one of our dedicated sales team can visit you at your home or office to discuss your requirements, at a time to suit you.
